Need help with BitaBit? Start with these quick guides. If they do not solve it, email support with your iPhone model, iOS version and a short description.

Quick guides

Importing your music

Add audio from Files or the iOS document picker. BitaBit keeps access through secure permissions where the system allows it.

Connecting a USB DAC

Connect the DAC before playback and check Technical Details for the active output route, sample rate and bit depth.

Queue and permissions

The queue and local lists can persist between sessions. If a file becomes unavailable, move it back to the original location or import it again from Files.

Visuals and waveform

Enable the waveform scrubber and live visualizers in Settings. These are local presentation controls and do not upload your music.

Finding internet radio

Open Radio to search or browse popular stations, favorites, recents and genres. Stream availability and metadata depend on the station provider and your connection.

Podcasts and downloads

Use Podcasts to search, subscribe and download episodes. OPML import/export and cache, playback-speed and notification controls are available in Settings.

Supported formats

BitaBit covers FLAC, ALAC/M4A, MP3, WAV/WAVE, AIFF/AIF/AIFC, DSD/DSF/DFF, Opus, Ogg Vorbis/OGA, Speex/SPX, WavPack/WV/WVC, Monkey's Audio/APE, Musepack/MPC/MP+, Shorten/SHN, True Audio/TTA and VGM/VGZ. If a file will not play, check that it is not corrupted and that iOS can access its location.

Report a bug

Found a crash or playback issue? Email support@bitabit.app with the source type, file format or station/feed name, your iPhone model, iOS version and steps to reproduce. Screenshots help.
